Good evening Eels! We are excited to get the season kicked off this upcoming Monday with our first practice. Below is some important information:

-Please sign up for Remind. This is how we primarily communicate with our parents during meets.  Text @eels24 to 81010.

-Please bring/donate a 12 pk of Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Gatorade/Powerade, or Water to practice this week for our team to sell at Home Meet Concessions to raise team funds. 

-Things to Bring to Practice on the first day: wear a bathing suit, bring goggles, a towel, a water bottle, and a cap(not required)

The water seems to be much warmer than it was last year at the start of the season, but be prepared that it may be chilly.

-Meet RSVPs are open on the Swim Meets->Schedule Tab. RSVPs for each meet are due by 10pm on the Sunday prior to that meet. We encourage you to go ahead and do the entire season now if you know your schedule.

-Team Management Representatives will be on deck throughout the week at practice introducing themselves and answering questions, specifically questions from new parents about the various volunteer roles and opportunities.

-Volunteer Slots will open on Wednesday 5/15. Please remember that each family is responsible for fulfilling at least 4 shifts. The sign-up for those is located in the same spot as the RSVPs above. If you have specific volunteer/job related questions, please ask on deck this week or e-mail: [email protected].

-Team Suit and Practice Time Info is on the Website under the Team tab. You may still be able to get a team suit prior to the first meet if you order now, but it is not guaranteed. If you choose not to get a team suit, please go with a one piece racing suit in navy blue. Additionally, please note that we have more swimmers this year than last year and practice times may need to be slightly adjusted to accommodate the numbers after we assess this first week.

-Team T-Shirts will be ordered this week, so if you have a friend who has not yet registered, remind them to go ahead and do that!

-Team caps will be handed out at the first meet or just prior to it at practice.

-Home Meet Themes are listed above in the schedule for those that want to go ahead and start on their outfits. We encourage parents and swimmers to dress up and show team spirit!

-Marcie Reif Photography will be doing our team picture this year as well as offering individual and sibling photos. More info to come. That will be on 6/6, our first home meet.

-Save the Date-The end of season party was such a hit at Mountain Park Aquatic Center last summer that we decided to go back. It is scheduled for Friday, 6/28 from 6:30-8:30pm.
