Volunteer Procedures
VOLUNTEER PROCEDURES
Please read carefully!
1. Each family will be required to work four volunteer duties during the swim season. If you have more than one swimmer on the team, you may be called to volunteer for additional slots, should they not be filled. Sign ups for these jobs will be available online in May or once the swim meet schedule has been published by Gwinnett County Swim League.
2. Parents will also be required to pay a $160.00 volunteer deposit during online registration. Checks are no longer accepted. If you do not fulfill a volunteer assignment, your credit card will be charged for each missed assignment and another parent or teen volunteer will be paid to do the job.
*Please remember, if you fulfill the full number of volunteer duties assigned (four slots), including signing in on the Volunteer Sign In Sheet at the meet when you are scheduled to work (each time you are scheduled to work), your credit card will not be charged.
3. It is important that at the beginning of the swim meet, the volunteer initials their name on the volunteer roster, which will be posted at the sign-in table. If you fail to do this, you may be charged. In order for our swim meets to run smoothly we need our volunteers, please make every effort to be present and on time for each of your volunteer assignments.
By checking the waiver box during the registration process, I agree that I have read and understand the above Volunteer Procedure and will abide by the requirements outlined.
